 Georgetown RR 11x14 oil studio
Cherry Creek Bike Trail 9x12 plein air
Wow, was it hot today. Really unusual for this time of year. This heat I would expect in late summer. Even the thistle weeds are turning pale and wilting.

Tarena -charcoal on newsprint 6/16/12 at Terry Ludwig Pastels where we meet for
 Life Drawing / Painting
Bunny Hop 11x14 oil plein air with the PAAC group. Man was it hot. A nice breeze kept us cool, and it was a nice turn out of artists. Got lots of "nice picture" from the groups of kids that were hiking the trail near the stream. They spent the day by the bridge cooling off in the water.

 Highline Canal 11x14 oil
Blackmer Common 11x14 oil

Two paintings from this morning at Highline Canal / Blackmer Common area. The day was just too gorgeous, to not stay as long as possible. There was a little haze from the fires in N. CO., the High Park fire, but it wasn't as windy as it has been in the past few days, so the smoke wasn't obscuring the distance just giving it some depth. The mountains could be seen, although not as clear as usual. Soo many paintings here.
 All That Jazz 24x12 pastel
 Waltz 18x24 pastel
Jitter Bug 16x20 pastel

Here are the entries to the Mile High International Pastel Exhibition scheduled for Aug 1-30 2012 at the Madden Museum in Fiddlers Green, Greenwood Village. Lets hope one of them gets into the show. :-)
 Flower Seller 11x14 oil
Icy Road Turkey Creek 12x16 oil

Here are 2 pieces accepted in the Richard Schmid Fine Art Auction scheduled for Sept 2 2012.
It is a fund raiser for Rist Canyon Volunteer Fire Department. They will need all the help they can get, especially now with the High Park fire going on.
